My name is Douglas and I am from Florida in the United States. Simply, I love wonderful films. My taste trends toward unique, emotional and beautiful styles of film and WKW certainly surprised me by being strong in each catagory.

I'm a artistic-minded musician so I am certainly tuned in to the kind of emotions that WKW films produce. More than anyone I have ever seen, his films seem so 'real' with raw emotion yet still maintain cinematic beauty in almost every frame. I also love the vast range of emotions and visual sense his films cover.

Somehow my feelings 'relate' to the moods his films set and ever since I first watched the first film I saw, 'Chungking Express', I have been hooked. Now that I have seen '2046', 'Chungking', 'Fallen Angels', and soon will see 'Happy Together', I believe he is now my favorite living director and I am happy to have found this group and hope to learn even more about WKW's films.
