I recently watched the new HT remastered by KINO. Would anyone know if this is, indeed, WKW's final cut of the film? There are quite a number of changes to the film, nothing too obvious, particularly in terms of scenes and sequence. I wonder if folks noticed, in particular, the hollow ring of the soundtrack? It could be my dvd player and tv, but I could swear that the music sounded a lot more echoey in this version. Thoughts?

i only noticed that the he altered the credits and main titles - now they are white on black instead of white on red.
and he also altered the colours of the movie, giving it a more saturated look.
